Should you upgrade to The Grand Governor's Suite at the Grand at Moon Palace? in this video we take you on the tour of the Grand Governor's Swim Up Suite and give you the pros and cons regarding upgrading. Having the extra space was definitely worth the upgrade. However they put us over on the side where they dump the seaweed cleanup and if the wind was blowing down toward the room, you couldn't even go outside! We were in building 94 room #- 118 - In the Video I said building 95 - so if you are going to upgrade do not stay close to the beach.

I am binge watching your videos. I was set on the Grand Resort, but I don't have kids. I was after the food experience, but now that you mention little kids, I am kind of hesitant. Which other resort offers food quality similar to the Grand, but without the kids, at a similar price range? Thanks in advance.

Thank you so much!!! The Sun Palace is a similar concept but much smaller. Food is good but not as good as The Grand. We enjoyed Barcelo Maya Riviera a lot too! My travel agent friend raves about Unico 20 87

Hi. Love your videos. We are thinking of heading to the Grand for the 1st time. Family of 4, two kids aged 11 and 13. Our plan is to book the family suite. Do you have a building recommendation? We want to give the kids some independence to roam around a bit, but the place seems huge. So, we are a bit concerned. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for watching! Yes ask for the building next to the entrance of the water park. I think it’s building 8? It’s close enough to walk to the lobby too and then they can go to the water park etc. it is huge! Our first time my sons was 12 or 13? I let him roam around but I was stressed lol bc he kept hopping on the bus and going to the Nzuic and Sunrise 🤣. But it’s safe it’s just can be tough to navigate bc it’s so big.

Hi! It really depends on what your family likes. Usually the swim ups are harder to get!
