I just came back from Costa Mujeres on a Tuesday. Left the resort at 7:50 am and got to the airport about 8:20 am. My flight was at noon. I got through checking in, dropping off bags and security in about 30 minutes.

Anything new with the Visitax? We visited Cancun back in July and didn’t see anything at the airport.

A few years back I got stopped and pulled out at security, my passport has my full legal name of David but in my airline app I had my name listed as Dave , so Dave printed on my ticket… it took a lot of sweet talking in my horrible rudimentary Spanish to get through that one, needless to say, I immediately fixed the airline app as soon as I got home!

I booked our transportation through the Hyatt Zilara and doing vip fast frack on arrival.

My wife and I were just in Cancun and when we arrived they tried to scam us. We got through customs and a Mexican official asked if we had a computer and if we did we would have to pay a computer entry tax. We said no and walked on; I later researched and found out that it was a scam by that individual to make money.

Did they ask you about the paper that they give you. When you arrive at e gates?

Baggage claim was a hassle. Customs wasn't though and that what I'd prefer.

It's not illegal to film in public places in Mexico. I could understand them not wanting someone to film their security processes. You're obviously not in this type of area, so I think this guy is wrong.

I have never had a problem renting a car. I love to experience and have a car to go anywhere at anytime. i.e. Belize, Bacalar, Holbox, Merida and so many other interesting places. I feel safe driving a rental so just educate yourself on possible scams and issues. 😎

Hello.Great video! I heard you say in your walking tour you are from NJ. I am also. I would guess being from the same area your food tastes are similar. I'd love to know your honest opinion of the best all-inclusive in your opinion in both Punta Cana and Jamaica, Looking for a couples atmosphere, good food and I do like a nice room. It seems like this checks most boxes but i do agree the pool is odd. I've been to Dreams Royal beach (beautiful. food average, buffets terrible. Bahia Ambar, rooms beautiful, pool good, food average (but was during covid so hard to judge) and Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton, unique but cool beaches, rooms good, food average. Looking to travel the 1st week in December.
