Coming up to the rim, you wouldn't know it's there. I don't like heights so it was difficult to look over the edge even with a railing. Glad you got to see one of the true Wonders of the World.

Wow, I have been twice the the Gr. Canyon yet, I remember how hard it was to avert the eyes from it and leave that place. I have never seen the mountains nearby with snow, that's awesome.

Is this your first time visiting the United States? I've noticed all your other blogs were in Europe. You did visit California just about the same time when you went to Arizona. The Grand Canyon is a great place to explore.

You're so kind, Jim, thank you! 😊💕 I'm going to Darwin in late July to warm up a bit. Darwin is in the Northern Territory which is that last state in Australia that I haven't been to yet. And it's 87 F there now (in winter) every day so it should be good for me 😃
