I think he was more so dropping confirms than combos. But yeah.... Still, glad such an interesting team made it to Grand Finals in the first place, let alone winning.

@doot_slayerАй бұрын
And Hikari said 6-0 too lmao
@guiteshimaАй бұрын
@@doot_slayer It's funny, because the set started looking like it was going to be like that... Only for Muffin to lock in and turn it around. That probably shook Hikari enough for him to make the mistakes he made during the last four matches/rounds.... Well that and i guess it's hard to predict if your 6S will hit Roshi A or not.

Muffin played so damn well that set when he started trying, god DAMN. I know Krillin's good, but I never knew somebody could move like THAT with him, he just fuckjng STUNTED on the whole venue with him. Some of the most hype shit. Also, holy shit, did you SEE the look hikari gave Muffin when he lost? Bro was SEETHING about that loss, he really thought he was gonna get a paycheck for playing with his 9-5ass deskjobass playstyle, I know he's gonna be mad about that till he fuckin dies lmao. Good, tbh, maybe it'll encourage him to make a team of his own instead of stealing Yasha's. And if it doesn't, eh. Guess he'll just mald about it.

He’s definitely really upset about the lost but I doubt he’ll be that mad about it for the rest of his life (especially if he wins the run back)

@guiteshimaАй бұрын
Man..... What a set. It's been while since i got THIS hyped during one of your videos. It's always neat when you point out what the players are doing and explaining their (probable) thought process and what went wrong. But seeing Muffin just.. Lock in like that.. It makes me happy. Happy that 17 blue guys didn't win this time. And happy that the two bald guys and their Duracell battery armed with a glock got the W they deserve. (No hate to Hikari though, he plays this game better than i'll ever be able to.) The thing about Muffin dropping a lot combos.. And i think you and most others noticed it, is that... It was mostly Krillin combos. His Roshi and Baby were a decent bit more consistent (though, still suffered some hiccups). That's because, at least in my opinion (and in my own experience labbing combos), Krillin has some of the hardest/most inconsistent combos to do... So i commend him for sticking with the Krillman until the very end (and it paid off too!) as well as having the mental and execution to get these combos and confirms more consistently after a bracket reset nonetheless! This set felt like it came straight out of one of those boxing or martial art movies with the underdog vs the powerhouse.
@guiteshimaАй бұрын
Oh! And regarding Vegito's 6S not hitting Roshi A.... I may be coping and looking too much into it. But i feel like Muffin purposefully called Roshi while moving forward to bait out that 6S. Specially because Hikari had no reason to expect it to not work, since last time Roshi got hit by it. Or maybe it was one of those "accidentally genius" moments. Either way, it was amazing to witness.

I really don’t know how to feel about muffin he plays too gimmicky and is so fun to watch, he always tries to do tricks that are not the usual 50/50 mixups, and he always tries to do resets, different knockdowns, niche combos, and it so cool to always see something different every time he get a hit But at the same time his mechanically difficult characters makes him drop a lot of combos and that kinda hurts since the reward of that gimmicky mixups and characters are often lost or punished and it makes it look like it’s not a viable playstyle when in reality it is but at the same time it’s harder than the regular consistent top tier team Idk if I explained it well
