The Grand Reef at Discovery Cove offers snorkeling and helmet dive among sharks and rays

A full below- and above-water look at the new Grand Reef at Discovery Cove. This larger reef replaces the old reef, which is being converted to fresh water for a new experience next year. The new reef offers multiple fish, rays, sharks and eels. You can swim wade or snorkel. For an extra fee, you can also take part in the SeaVenture helmet dive.

i went there last summer and it cost like a 1000 to spend the day and more if you want to swim with the dolphin

Trollin since 79 did you check the rates now? I booked for june for my daughters bday and for 4 of us with the dolphin tour it came to $1,100 and included unlimited food snacks and drinks.

You are walked around a loop between the artifical rock walls in an area 40 - 50' long and 15' wide - yup same lagoon you have spent the day in - but now you have a 200' maximum track to follow - same fish but less rays as it's too narrow for them and they skim over your head as you walk round - you cant look up or the helmet floods. $59 plus tax per person - and utterly dull - complete waste of time and money.

if you can afford to go to this pathetic excuse of a place, then you can afford to go snorkeling at Hanauma Bay in Hawaii on Oahu. Now that's an experience. This? This is a joke. Especially because of the dolphins they keep captive.
