When this scene was described in the book Dugal and Jamie fought back to back and Claire said they were like poetry, skilled and in-sync. Claire thought it looked beautiful, two strong well schooled males in motion, protecting their own. I'd have liked to see them film this more like that and less like a dirty melee, show the actor's hard-learned training off a bit.
