GRT coin inflation rate = yearly increase of 3%. GRT query rate = monthly increase of 15%. This entire excel sheet was based on a stable need for GRT, and showed no history of growth rate (demand), which would be necessary to make a prediction. Am I right?

To add to your point, the inflation rate isn't 3%, it's 2% when implementing the 1% burn, not to mention the fact it's a utility token and query rates at 15% and growing, token lockups for indexing, curating, and delegating limiting sellside pressure, and the fact that both holding and utilizing the token is massively beneficial for any layer 1 using The Graph. His point on an escalating MC with a stable GRT price makes zero sense whatsoever considering the fact the inflation rate at 2% will get smoked every year by the query fees of all the layer 1's alone eating their data. Weak analysis, even weaker opinions of the analysis.

Worrying about the inflation rate in the short term is a bad way to look about it as an investment if it has a capped total supply. Might be short term downward pressure, but that is when you would want to be buying into that if you think the project is going to be successful in the long run, not running away.

What are you basing the total market value of GRT on? YOu said it is on leg of a 3 legged stool? ETH = $270Billion, LINK = 8.7Billion, GRT = ??????? I do agree about the tokenomics, but you may still be undervaluing what this project brings to the "Table". All seriousness, I would use LINK as an example of how to value the Market Cap of GRT. I love your analysis. Great project, crummy tokenomics. If I was a regulator, first on my hotlist for fining issuers of unregistered securities offerings would be an ico that enriched a small group at the expense of other ‘investors’. If I want a 20x return by 2025 (which I could probably get from BTC so that’s my minimum requirement), then a buy price of around $.14 makes sense. I could see regulations driving it there over the next year.

What about The Graph being the frontrunner for Ethereum scaling? The Graph fills the gap left by EIP-4444 for dApps by indexing historical data from genesis and serving queries for that data. Things move fast in Web3 world, and the truth is that no one has the crystal ball to predict a token price. Curious to see your excel in 2-3 years ... hope you won't delete the video ;-)

ETH 2.0 drops some history, vs ETH 1.0, in the interest of better performance and efficiency. This, by design, makes indexers indispensable for ETH 2.0. Question is, for GRT at least, can the strong use case moving forward outweigh the crappy tokenomics?
