He lived his last years alone at Holden Beach Island, North Carolina. He rode around the island on his 3 wheel bike with a 4 foot tall orange safety flag on the back basket. Lived in a very small apartment at the corner of Neptune st and Brunswick Ave. He stayed to himself. Never bothered anyone. Great neighbor.

I think the Chef had just about every kid’s back when they were growing up! I cooked for a daycare and besides chicken nuggets, the ravioli was their favorite. I would warm it up, put cheese on top to melt and there were never any leftovers. They absolutely loved it! Thank you so much Chef Boyardee!! 😋😋

When I was 18 I ran away with my boyfriend for spring break. We had very little money so we were living on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and sleeping in his car on our long drive to Florida. We finally got a hotel room and he went out to gas up the car etc. He comes back with a a can of Chef Boyaredee Cheese Ravioli (I'm a vegetarian). He managed to get it open somehow and we ate it cold straight from the can. It was the most romantic dinner a man has ever made for me! Thanks for the video!

Lamont, you crack me up. I remember back when my kids were little. We would go to my grandmas house. And she asked if they were hungry. And they naturally said yes. And she asked doesn’t your mom cook, and my two oldest said yea. But she can’t cook, she can burn water. She said Carol ,what are you doing with the cookbooks that I gave you through the years? I was so embarrassed. I made up an excuse to try to get her to change the subject. And boy, did I have a talk to my kids when they got home. Loved the video and memories.

There is not enough ketchup in the world to make my Mom's meatloaf edible. 🤣😂🤣 I didn't realize that they supplied the MREs in WWII. That is pretty cool.
