Just found your channel and must say, I enjoyed this video. The extra excitement of the footsteps, as such, makes for a memorable Adventure. Thanks for sharing Colonel Lake.😀

Dear Terry, many thanks for your comment. To be honest it's not the first time this kind of thing has happened to me, but it was definitely the weirdest of all. The other times was like "what's that thing hidden over there in the image?!?" And not a direct encounter right on the spot. Just to be sure, I'm not going there to photograph late at night... It's not that I'm frightened, no no no no, let's just say I don't like the idea that my trousers could become "brown"... Hehehehehe

Very nice video. I enjoyed it and it brought me back to a time I used large format, although not the same type. I used to take studio shots with a Leica large format. I am a fan of Nikon, and the fact that you have an F4 on your channel photo is a bonus. Well done. I currently use my D750 on my photos and for some of the videos on my channel, but I miss my Nikon FM2! That was my first Nikon and I will always cherish it. Ate a proxima.

I actually do own a bit more than the F4. Just by peeking above my PC monitor I can see a F5, a F3, a F2 and 3 Nikon F all in working order (But one of the F's has a dead Photomic). I know these cameras so well that in order to work with them, I dont need to look at them, I just need to "feel them". I just have one "bad thing" to say about Nikon... The Nikon F6 is UNGODLY EXPENSIVE! That being said I also use a lot of other brands, but there is one camera that I specially treasure: I only use it once a year, I never used a roll of film on it, I put on cotton gloves to make JUST ONE DRY SHOT... And this camera is my GOLD Nikon FA. I use the gloves not to leave stains on it... I also have "normal " FM, FM2 and FM10, an EM, a Nikormat FTn, a very rare Nikon 1Dx, D2, D3, D3s, D4...

@@paulodefeyter I had noticed a few more Nikons in the background! I am amazed at your collection. Unfortunately, I could not keep all of mine and I had to sell them along the years to upgrade, but I might just buy another FM2 and maybe a large format Leica like the one I had for nostalgia! Now, the GOLD NIKON FA is a museum piece for sure! Amazing. I have been using digital for decades, but I honestly think they are still not at the same level as film cameras. I miss developing film and enlarging my photos! That was fun.

Just found your 15:14 15:14 15:14 15:14 15:14 channel. I learned photography with a 4x5 Speed Graphic in the United States Army in 1969. I really enjoyed the he video and have subscribed to your channel.

Many thanks Mike! But your comment spiked my curiosity... Did the USA army had a course on photography then? I know that they had/have photographers among the staff, and we can see that on several movies just like "full metal jacket"... And another question, your surname where is it from?
