Dear James, that's absolutely correct! you know? I often go to one place just to get ONE shot. But that image has to be exactly as I imagined and wanted it to be. I often roam around URBEX (URBan EXploration) groups and I see them entering a place and publishing on social media 150 images that they took on that "sortie". This kind of "banalizes" the place itself. I often say that I prefer to do ONE image that conveys a strong narrative, than to do 100 images, that might even be technically perfect, but void of history and sentiment. But let me thank you for your comment, I really do appreciate the opinion and views of someone who's from a different place and culture than me :) Sometimes these opinions are really eye opening!

Portugal is a very pretty place and I like the mystery your photographs evoke. I shoot 4x5 and 5x7 in the (very flat) state of Indiana in the USA.

Dear Michael, you are a lucky man! carying the Large Format in your back uphill is a thing that only once you're through, you give enough credit for the effort. In Portugal I dont believe we have a flat plain... I think that the minumum we have is a rolling hill, and as you go north it only gets worse. Nevertheless I'd like to thank you for the coment, I really do appreciate the views and expertise of someone who comes from a different culture and background than mine :)
