I loved Lucille Ball! That's sad I didn't know she lost her dad at 3 years old. That statue of her was hideous!! Thanks for the tour Lamont!

I'm thinking the people who commissioned the statue asked the sculptor to capture that "Funny face" Lucy made when she first tastes that stuff because we see the bottle and spoon in her hands too. May not have been the sculptors fault, he did as paid to do. I'm also sure the people that paid for the statue meant well.

She's always been my favorite actress since childhood. One of the funniest besides the vitavitavegemen episode was the one with William Holden. I can still see her face when she lit her fake nose on fire. All their episodes are classic though. I also love Here's Lucy.

The House where she grew up, the Blue house, that Her Family moved into, after her Dad died, the Park, with the 2 Statues of her, and then her Gravesite!!😉😉 The Park, with the 2 Statues, the Statue With the Spoon & Medicine bottle, reminded Me of the "Mary Poppins song, "A Spoonful of Sugar helps the Medicine go down"... But you Are SO Correct.. The Letters that You put on the Screen, with "The Three Stooges", the "Benny Hill Show", The Golden Girls, and, I was Also a Lover, of the Married with Children Show, too!! I Miss, the "Married with Children" Show.....😢😢😢 But My Favorite Episode of the "I Love Lucy" Show, was When she was in a Barrel, running around, Smashing Grapes!!😄😃😊🍇🍇 People like Me, that have Never been to New York, to these Museums to see this kinda stuff, is Really Neat!! I habe been Stuck, living in Colorado. Thanks, for Sharing!!👍 Stay Awesome, & Safe, Lamont!!🙏🙏😉😊

Love your vids! True story, when we do truck inspections at the scale house on I-80 in Illinois, we always watch the I Love Lucy reruns on TNT while doing inspections. You just can’t get enough Lucy!

I used to watch it back in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The show is timeless. She was a movie actress before the I love Lucy show. TV open up a whole world of entertainment just like today with the internet.

😂🤣😂🤣😂. Omg, I am quite literally laughing out loud and cannot stop 😂. What the hell was that sculptor thinking and who agreed to have it on display in that park? I have no words but I appreciate the laughter it brought on. Good job, Lamont 👍.

I didn’t know you were in NY. Hubby and I took the three hour ride to see the museum. You talked about the statue but never showed that you could do your own vitametavegamin commercial in the museum. I hope you signed the guest book too. We didn’t have time to go to the gravesite or house so thank you for that. Love your channel!

As a teenager in the early 1960's, it was Lucy's TV daughter I was totally in love with, her name is Candy Moore. She must be around 70 by now, but she melted my heart back then !!

Just saw the movie on amazon. I really enjoyed it. All the actors knocked it out of the park. That statue was awful. It looked like a grandmother about to force her grandkids to take castor oil. Goodness. I just loved lucy and the show. I remember when i was 12 my mom almost forcing me to watch it saying" This is real comedy, boy" So i gave it a shot. Two weeks in, i was hooked. Had a little crush on lucy too. Still watch it sometimes to this day. Its a part of me now. That short little tour of the museum lamont...you got some splainin to do. 😉
