He was known for his strength, durability, formidable punching power, and relentless pressure fighting style and was the first boxer to beat Muhammad Ali. Frazier reigned as the undisputed heavyweight champion from 1970 to 1973 and as an amateur won a gold medal at the 1964 Summer Olympics.

@@ianmeadows8719 he must have been pretty good because while he was boxing he was usually either champ or number one contender, he also beat other great champions like George Foreman and Joe Frazier and Sonny Liston, he also was champ three different times so the man definitely did do something right

Probably the most famous man to not be famous because he was overshadowed by the most famous man of the past century I wish he had been in the spotlight more because ali constantly talked about him and only ali gets remembered

I don’t think that is true, boxing fans my age 66, know that Frazier was awesome, a force of nature between 68 and the first Ali bout. Sadly neither Frazier or Ali were the same after that gruelling bout but Frazier was the most damaged. He is well and fondly remembered and regarded, a true warrior.

@@Caskchap I wasn't alive back then but I know that Frazier should have been more popular compared to ali he only peaked between 68 and 75 when he was in old age many people forgot about him unlike ali who was always in the spotlight in old age
