The Greaseman - PM Magazine 1982 #1 - Introduction

When The Greaseman first came to DC/101 in 1982, PM Magazine Producer/Director Steve Howard did a series of profiles & comedy bits with Grease to introduce him to the D.C. area. Steve was kind enough to share these with Grease. Thanks, Steve!

I was stationed 84/85 in PAX River just a hour or so drive from DC. I listened to the Grease Man every more going to work and laughed my butt off. Love the stories he made up!

I'm realizing now how lucky I was to grow up in Spotsylvania Virginia during the 80s exclamation point mostly listen to The Greaseman but was able to hear Howard I think it was on Sunday night they would do one night. I didn't really remember him much on DC101 because I was born in 75, so I think I was a little young at that point. But I sure remember the greaseman. Then eventually, on 106.7, you had Howard Stern and the greaseman, Imagine 6 hours a day everyday almost of these two guys pushing to the limit. Radio was awesome back then. Sure did take it for granted
