Another reference to Jezaille Brett is I believe the fact that Watson was shot by a Jezail bullet. A Sherlock Holmes reference, or in this universe, a Herlock Sholmes reference.

I actually like that Ryunosuke should be pushed here not to mince words. He need to contradict and raise his voice at the person at least twice as old and in highly higher social standing, in the presence of other people, including the judge. It wouldn't go easily for a person in Meiji Japan.

fun fact: the japanese name on the medical card actually reads "John Wilson", and not "Watson" in the English localization. I wasn't expecting they'd change, it considering how few English speaking people would actually notice the difference, and considering that if you turn on the Japanese voices, they still say "Watson" and "Holmes" and such.

Unfortunately, I think this is an actual issue with the Ace Attorney Trilogy game(s); I'm watching someone play Justice for All blind in the Ace Attorney Trilogy pack and they have a hard time remembering that "Profiles" were a valid option to choose when being prompted with a question; in the original DS release (as well as the original Trilogy HD 3DS port), the Profile button remained large and prominent when choosing an answer to a question. However, in the Trilogy port (PS4, Steam, etc) it's all sleek, minimalist, and modern, and as a result the "Profile" switch key when asking for an answer is not as much in the forefront of the player's mind.

It's not only in this game, it's a general problem this days. With better screen definition the dev start to make smaller the text. I have heard this critic for Nier automata and some FPS to. Well some game propose to change the size of the text, but not everyone

The business card thing is probably a translation problem. I assume that in the original, the text wasn't there and you could just see it on the card which makes it more instinctual to actually examine it as well. But here because you can so clearly read what is written on the card, it doesn't occur to some people to actually check it

Nah this is a consistent thing with the series. If you don’t press examine on things even if the player can see an issue, the evidence won’t be updated or considered correct. In universe it’s because the character doesn’t notice things until you press examine. It does make it annoying if you notice something like a bloodstain, but have to take every step to get there yet this is not a new thing with how the series set it up. Just like you can’t jump ahead in the discrepancies until you piece each step there.

It's a video series here on KZbin, rather than a game (It's also a crossover between AA & My Little Pony but you don't need to know much about MLP to enjoy it, I only knew about MLP when I first watched it but I thoroughly enjoyed it regardless, it is definitely one of my favourite fan projects of both fandoms & what got me into AA! 😊)

@@SaveDataTeam If that's the case some I recommend are: Turnabout Substitution, Contempt of Court, and Conflict of Interest - 3 fangames that are classics. They are much darker the the main ace attorney games and have very inept plots. Turnabout Curtain and A Turnabout to El Dorado - these fancases are incredibly open and shut and hard to prove the innocence of your client. I think Prj will have fun exploring the weight of the case agaisnt your client. Strangers in the land of turnabouts - I think Prj will like this case is it's more of a civil case and I think prj is more familiar with those then murder cases. Hexpeta Mayor Attack - unlike most ace attorney fangames, this fangame focus on many different crimes other then murder so I think prj wkll have fun with this. Ace Prosecutor Zero - This fangame has you play as a Prosecutor and includes a lot of game mechanics not in the main games such as direct examinations. Hope these suggestions help!

Iam writing this before watching it all. Sorry Prij and you all for the tiring first case. It's important from a narrative standpoint but bad from a Gameplay standpoint as prij said he was mildly annoyed about the option of staying silent or scream at the prosecution. Its problem doing a visual novel like game and still make an Form of choice and at the same time not. I guess why include the illusion of choice at all? I don't know, maybe they feared it would be more like a movie than a game so they half heartly included that bit.
