We've also got a couple of Lady Jane (Linda Young) conservatories. Just recently we got a nice donation of Joan Howard's roomboxes made in workshops with Rosemarie Torre. Fun stuff, huh? This looks great! I was never interested in going before even though my friends volunteered in putting some of the exhibits together because I thought it would be old, dusty, and boring. But i am glad it is all behind glass to prevent anything from getting dirty or broken. I want to visit now!

I am sorry I didn't know about this place when I was in KY...I would have stopped. Looks like an awesome museum. FYI - To XjacksonhaltomX with the comment that nobody from Danville goes to the Dollhouse Museum...I got news for you. I live in the Twin Cities in Minnesota, and nobody here goes to the Mall of America. And yet, they are always swamped.

@10lilkitty Danville is a fun day trip and has other fun things to do. Until the end of April, for instance, our Community Arts Center is having an amazing dinosaur display! We do have a great banquet/workshop room, too, so we're a wonderful destination for groups of all ages and types!

@yelyakz We get visitors from all over KY and neighboring states. Danville is a really nice little old-fashioned town, too!

@Me74Forever Oh, yes, we have a very large museum store with miniature furniture and accessories, both new and vintage, dollhouses, and also other items such as jewelry, pottery and art work. : ) Lori Kagan-Moore, owner and curator

Just label your stuff VERY well and be prepared to stand in line for about 2 hours after the fair when you pick it up.
