Always interesting hearing these two blokes talk but the gambling push through the AFL and AFL shows is really starting to wear pretty thin. Footy Furnace is a hard watch because after listening to Leigh Matthews and Jimmy talk footy you have the gambling guy get his segment telling you all the odds. A lot of charity groups say that gambling addiction is a real problem in the community,it'd be nice if our sport wasn't constantly trying to interest people in the problem. And apparently the last AFL CEO has just got himself a big paying job with a gambling company. Just saying is all.

You bag the attendance at the Melbourne / North Melbourne game. 28,774 was the recorded number. How about you discuss GWS home games? GWS / Port Adelaide - 8,914 was the recorded attendance. How can GWS be a viable, financially successful Club with such poor support? Without paid up members, who actually funds the Players contracts?

can't compare those 2 games, Both the Dees and North were playing at home and are both well established clubs v the newest club against a team from the other side of the country. Granted I think GWS are branded poorly, Gold Coast on the otherhand look like they are starting build now

Living in Europe now and watching these crap multi million dollar players writhing around on the ground in soccer , seeing what May did Trucked my head . He should get 4 weeks at least for contributing to trucking up our game.
