I'm not sure of what culture or what religion or belief this music is from- All I know is that I just listened to this for the 1st time and my whole body tingled and something inside of me woke up. I feel completely different. I think it spoke to my soul. And I feel such a peace right now, from the inside out. This is an amazing discovery. I will be diving into this for more. I had a busy stressful day today, so I'm listening to my favourite prayer by Thay at Plum Village and the Thich Nhat Hanh Foundation again. This prayer came to me when Thay and my parents died together this year all at the same time. I can see my parents, Thay and all my ancestors in this video. Today (16/11/23) would have been my daughter Kate’s 31st birthday. She died of organ failure in 2015. This came up in my feed as it began to rain outside my lorry as l am at work. As the bell rang , my tears joined with the rain and the feeling of loss and suffering felt by infinite beings joined with mine. When I first found this true gem (or did it find me?), I was instantly touched in such a manner I couldn't simply understand, at least not with my mind. Tears flowing down on my face, from deep within, it had reached the sacred space in my Heart. Yes, I think it is a release and ultimately (Relief) We have too many intense emotions... And to be re-minded, to come back home to our-self, and realize our own impermanence and that of all things physical, can be liberating and painful but bring great joy when we can just accept. It is a beautiful emotion to be experienced.. try to smile, breath through it and giggle at yourself. xxx

I believe it is a release of heartache for the suffering but also a reminder of hope. Also for me at least...it's a reminder of our beautiful sovereign Gaia and how she supports us and continues to love us when we have been less than thoughtful to her and her creatures. Well, 7.8 billion people don't have covid, there are countries that don't even have covid. Not even a million have died, not even half a million have died. The deaths, whilst unfortunate are still low compared the world's population or certain countries populations. And there are always infectious diseases around not just Covid. However, the songs amazing and more people need it regardless

James Butterworth Yes, you may be right, but I just think that the people of the world are suffering from the COVID19 crisis, whether from contracting the virus, or fear, or loss of employment, separation from loved ones or like myself, death of my father-in-law from the virus, & having two adult children that are vulnerable because they have underlying health issues.
