as a first nations member who has had family in chiefs position i can tell you this, each reserve has a right to police their nation (reserve), all they have to do is file a report to the RCMP on these drug dealers sign a paper giving power to the rcmp to enter the reserve and detain these people, but it just never happens, chief and councils can even sign what they call a BCR, this will ban said individual from the reserve and violation can lead to trespassing charges and jail time, all we need is the backing of chief and council and all these dealers would be off reserve in a heart beat, but fear and corruption ruin this option.

fear or destruction of property, fear of violence to family or one self, chief and council have to do things leagally and the dealers will go and do illegal stuff to lash out hence the fear and corruption is pretty self explanatory

Exactly. The issue of nepotism in almost all struggling native communities needs to be addressed before much else can be done. The top tier is not looking out for the bottom.

I am so sorry people are going to the drugs in search of peace. Its just a way they're trying to escape the trauma they've experienced. They are hopelessness. They need love and hope comes from that love. Praying for all ❤

N yes if policing can't handle it n how can they with 2 cops get rcmp involved 🤔 if they let them in they can handle these drug dealers

RCMP and the police are hesitant to go on treaty land because they get sued. Reservations that I know of have they're own law enforcement. I believe that is the best way to go. RCMP can't afford all these lawsuits so they are best just not to set foot there.

This been going on for a long time before the fetty and meth came around. It was weed coke and booze. It's sad but ppl make their choices to do drugs. Same challenges a lot of reserves are in.
