If you're going to talk about evolution, you should understand it first, there are some serious flaws in his argument about the probability of evolution, even if that number he mentioned was correct (which is not), that number is referring to the probability of the first cell coming into existence, that is NOT biological evolution, that's biogenesis, evolution is the change of living organisms through time. That extremely unlikely probability he mentioned, I have no idea where he got that from, but there's no way from what we know now to even come up with a probability, we don't have enough variables and understanding to calculate it, not by a long shot, part of having a scientific mind is being epistemologically humble, understanding that we have limitations in our perception, our intellect and recognizing that even though we know a lot, it's still very little in comparison with everything there is to know, if a scientist tells you that he knows the probability of evolution, he's lying. By the way, evolution is a fact supported by many different domains of biology, from fossils to genetics, we don't know every single thing about it but it did happen and it's still happening, that's why is also wrong what he said about monkeys not evolving because they don't need to, monkeys are evolving, every animal is evolving, evolution never stops.

it isnt 0.00148, its 0.0148. you put the decimal wrong. Nice work though!

0.0148 x 365 you had your decimal point in the wrong place = 5.4 days btw.

I am a muslim, just wanted to ask where did the number 5776 years came from? it isnt in Quran. Is it in previous books from creator?
@1whitemoon4 жыл бұрын
the chronology of human, starting at adam. Genesis lists who gave birth to who and at what age. when you sum it up, until our time, it ends up 5776. the jewish calendar has been using this to determine what year we're in.

Sinnerstar no need to be unkind. This man is listening to one of our Rabbi's with an open mind and heart. Let's not discourage him by being unnecessarily unwelcoming. He is Hashem's creation and likely a descendent of Abraham through Ishmael. He is very welcome

@luisrosalesEAGLE Жыл бұрын
God was always there god is not limited by time if he was created he would not be god

The simple answer is G-d is infinite whilst we are finite. We can not fully comprehend this as we are, and every other physical being we know are finite beings
