The best court opening theme in the series you can’t change my mind. Court themes should be casual yet majestic. A person’s fate is on the line here, but the current aura isn’t solemn enough to warrant a more ominous theme.
@c.k.mcknight89215 ай бұрын
I totally agree. This game and Dual Destinies really captured that in a way that the other games in the series didn't. It's when this theme changes in 2-5 that you know something bad's gonna go down.

My favourite part about Ryunosuke? He doesn't need BS magic, mentors or two whole games to know what he's fighting for in the Court, all he has is his memories and the evidence. He's much more like Edgeworth than Phoenix in that sense, he does all his cases legitimately and mostly on his own, in reality he doesn't really even need Susato there with him she just speaks up for him when his words don't come out.
@ZenovaXD4 жыл бұрын
I think this is what truly makes this my favourite AA game, it felt extremely legit in terms of story. I didn't have any spirit leading me to victory or a bracelet that made you hyperfocus, just the true experience. It made the game a lot more scary but when you got the not guilty verdict, knowing that the journey I took to get it felt great.
@the1whoplayz4 жыл бұрын
Aosgi is kinda like his mentor, in the sense he helped him figure out how trials work and stuff. Him having Sherlock Holmes on his side basically removes the need for BS magic (Since Sherlock Holmes is an expert in finding out lies without the need of a Magatama/Bracelet). What are you talking about him not needing Susato???? She's the one who saved his ass multiple times in court (teaching him about the Defence Rebuttal, speaking up for him in court when he gets cold feet, teaching him about British customs, etc....)

Apollo never used magic either. Apollo just had an ability through his genetic make up and he relied on it less and less as the games went on. Phoenix also improved massively over the years as well. He did not use spirit channeling as a crutch in AA5 or AA6. He grew into his own.

I don't quite know how to describe this piece of music but it sort of gives me this kind of feeling about Japan entering into a new era of law and justice at the turn of the 19th to 20th Century. A country whose devotion to the ways of the warrior and loyalty all of a sudden being brought into the light of how law and order works and how the West influenced it's proceedings of justice. This music I think capsulate both the old ways of Japan and the dawning new ways of the West.

I'd realised how much I had fallen in love with this theme (and GAA's soundtrack as a whole) when I started up the second game of the duology and was wondering at the beginning of the first trial, whether this game had new music (since every game usually has a completely new OST) and I was overjoyed to hear this once again. It's just so grand that I cannot help but be a bit awestruck every time I hear it.
@NagaManga Жыл бұрын
This is honestly one of my favourite (extremely close to being my all-time favourite) court begins theme. Not only does it carry the feeling of how powerful, important, and also how harrowing a trial can be but also somehow manages to capture the history of the British court system. You feel centuries of history and evolution in this track and I just love it so damn much.

after dual destinies' unremarkable (imo, of course) OST, hearing the defendant's lounge theme and this first thing was a breath of fresh air. it made me go "it's like that in this game, huh" in a good way.
The Jurist system doesn't really even make an impact, it's in the game more as a formality. And unlike AA4, you cannot control the verdict being passed.

At least it gives the player a pretty fun mechanic, where you make two statements clash to find the truth. Unlike in Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney where you simply choose if you want the good or bad ending.

@@HardGuess JFA had the option of getting a unique bad ending if you lost the way you lose in every single game, it had more to offer than the other games rather than just saying "GUILTY" and closing the curtains (or in this case "NOT GUILTY" since thats what we're trying to prevent) other than apollo justice, since that game also has a unique bad ending.
