Mike Oliver is the best technical analyst out there, in my opinion. He isn't afraid to make his calls, lives with the results and stays focused, and is correct far more often than no. Thanks for the interview, was really worth watching.

Bitcoin is an app for trading fiat currencies. The “store of value” feature is vaporware. There is nothing stopping unlimited competitors overwhelming demand with supply, but demand is weak not strong. Bitcoin is going to be a tool to trade one failing fiat for another.

Thank you so much for your clarification. The greed of Bitcoin is their refusal to invest 10% or more in gold to support their digital electronic currency worth less than paper fiat currency. A run on Bitcoin will quickly show its value.

The problem with the miners is they set their businesses up for lower inflation and lower interest rates. Yes, the gold price is up, but their costs are up even more. A lot of these companies are run by lifestyle management who don't run a tight enough ship to win in the current conditions.

Why is everyone focused on a 10-20% decline in the stock market? I remember 2001 with a decline of about 50% and a 50% decline again starting in 2008. Isn't leverage higher now? Wouldn't the decline be more like 80-90% this time? I believe so.

One more thing...the bigger problem is that big foreign money may not believe in US debt market and that could be a big straw to break the bond market. Bonds may be really trashed going forward for a while.
