The Great English Folcmoot 2011

The official video of the first ever Great English Folcmoot. Set in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside, and funded by the Steadfast Trust, the folcmoot is a festival of Englishness in a day packed full of events. Tug of war, re-enactment, falcon display, live comedy and music, wood cutting, football and boxing display were all in the main arena. Outside was lined with many stalls including local honey producers, We Are The English and White Wulf merchandise stands, Woden's Folk, sweet stall, Steel Point tattoos, children's craft stall, food stands and many more.

Hi kamahlkaaan, there were non-English folk there, the Folcmoot was an open event in Burbage, Wiltshire. It was an English traditional event - the chance for people to experience English pastimes such as archery, boxing, football, tug-o-war, a children's battle re-enactment, football tournament and more, with food, drink, music, clothing and merchandise stalls.

Someone seems to be over reacting. In Leicester the Asian community have something called the Belgrave MELA are they stuck in the past for celebrating their traditions?

England may be in very modern history , multicultural, but the English are not. All you need to know that is a very basic understanding of ethnicity.
