And know that victory comes with patience, and affliction is followed by relief, and hardship is followed by ease. Two things to remember in life. Take care of your thoughts when you are alone. Take care of your words when you are in the crowd.

You celebrate Eid because prophet Ismail was nearly killed. Yet you expect Muslims not to cry for the family of the Prophet who were butchered by so called Muslims. What happened after the death of the Prophet that his holy family his alyl bait were matyred. Hussain as taught us that death is just a means to get closer to Allah. He revived the religion of His Holy Grandfather. He exposed the corruption, and gave his head for the sake of pleasing Allah. It is not 2 Muslim enemies fighting each other, it is haq vs bathel, the rightous vs the cursed.

I got it from a book called حسن المسلم husn al muslim. I don't have the direct translation of the meaning حسن المسلم but it's like good character of a Muslim. Number 110 which says "يقرأ (الٓمٓ تنزيل السجدة، وتبارك الذي بيده الملك) and the source is Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Nisaa'i in عمل اليوم والليلة, and Sahih Al-Jame' صحيح الجامع (255/4)

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Husayn is from me, and I am from Husayn & Allah(swt) loves whoever loves Husayn" Ashura is a major event for all Muslims that the holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) grandson Husayn(as) was slaughtered for having stood up for truth & justice against oppression & tyranny with alot of his family against Yazeed. Please do not underestimate this sacrifice as it was done for the sake of Allah(swt) to Keep the holy Prophet Muhammad (saw) Islam from being hijacked from it's Prophetic authenticity. This truly is a universal message that unfortunately a lot of Muslims & other people tend to ignore or merely overlook sadly hence not truly benefitting from it's divine spiritual essence. However by disacknowledging Ashura, I feel would be a real source of displeasure & disrespect to the sanctity & pure love that the holy Prophet Mohammad(saw) had held in high esteem for both his grandsons & grand-daughters.

Hadith حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ‏.‏ وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ ـ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ ـ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَفْصَةَ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانُوا يَصُومُونَ عَاشُورَاءَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُفْرَضَ رَمَضَانُ، وَكَانَ يَوْمًا تُسْتَرُ فِيهِ الْكَعْبَةُ، فَلَمَّا فَرَضَ اللَّهُ رَمَضَانَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏"‏ مَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَصُومَهُ فَلْيَصُمْهُ، وَمَنْ شَاءَ أَنْ يَتْرُكَهُ فَلْيَتْرُكْهُ ‏"‏‏.‏ Narrated `Aisha: The people used to fast on 'Ashura (the tenth day of the month of Muharram) before the fasting of Ramadan was made obligatory. And on that day the Ka`ba used to be covered with a cover. When Allah made the fasting of the month of Ramadan compulsory, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever wishes to fast (on the day of 'Ashura') may do so; and whoever wishes to leave it can do so." I think you have it mixed up , Sunni's don't commemorate the karabala tradegy . We fast on this day because the prophet SAW fasted because Moses AS fasted out of gratitude for saving him and people from the pharoah .
