Leo's hand movement represents the 'camera crane' that hit Baz Lurhman in the head, causing a dispute between WB and Baz, regarding the production date being held, due to Baz needing 3 stitches from hitting his head on the camera crane. WB told Baz to get the movie out for Christmas, unfortunately, it was postponed 3/4 months. (this is the 'rocky moment' of which Baz is talking about)
