Well done, the last day seems the least interesting what with the effort to return the key and getting back on course for the finish! Cheers for taking us along Paul. Here's to the next adventure.

@Dorset Piper Oh, there are some nice spots on the way to Inverness, but i guess Paul was more occupied in managing his escape from the fantastic Eco Campsite. 😂

Did you stop at Drumnadrochit camp site (Borlum farm)? According to their website they are not taking tent campers currently due to restrictions on communal facilities. planning to walk it next week but bit worried about where to stop. Will wild camp some of it. Informative videos, thanks

@PaulWillcocks

@@LezleysAdventures if you mean the same key as in to operate the locks then no it's not the same key. This key only gives you access to toilets, showers and wash rooms along the canal.

Nice one Paul thanks for sharing another great adventure. In your opinion how does it compare with WHW difficultly and satisfaction wise ?. Also is that key worth getting ?.
@PaulWillcocks
@PaulWillcocks 4 жыл бұрын
I prefer the WHW but it is harder especially the part after Inversnaid up the side of Loch Lomond. For me the key is worth getting and I would definitely get it again.

How Paul Heelo. I am looking to buy a quality (but not outlandishly expensive) quilt which is light but which will be suitable for at least -5 centigrade. Yout tube is full of ones from US cottage industries eg Enlightened equipment, UGC quilts and Z packs..but prices are steep. You pulled the trigger on z packs (which one exactly?). Any other recommendations? Thermorest vesper? Heeeelp! The problem is there are no shops to touth and feel things before purchase!!

My sleeping bag is the Zpacks Classic 30F/-1C in standard/medium. zpacks.com/products/30f-classic-sleeping-bag This is a great bag and keeps me nice and warm but if I was going to get another I would get the same bag but in broad/long. I can't really recommend any other bags as this is the only hoodless bag I've used.

Congratulations. Looks like one of the UKs easiest national trails. Did you know that you can register your achievements with national trails? If you have walked 5, 10, 15 or all 19 you can register this fact with the Long Distance Walkers Association and for a nominal fee claim a certificate. If you've done a minimum of 5 you'll be eligible. www.ldwa.org.uk

yes I think it is one of the easier nation trails. I've only done one nation trail so far.

Hi mate, I’d really be very careful with your comments on that campsite. It may be best to remove this and your last video, heard of a few cases of businesses taking people to court etc.
