The Great Incorrect Attorney #5 (DGS 2 spoilers)

Today we ask ourselves what happens when you hand Sholmes random things to eat, what everyone is majoring in, if Gina is a law-abiding citizen, and why Jigoku has such a vendetta against Britain.
This video was meant to go up earlier, but this week has been a little busier than I thought it'd be. I'm just glad that objection.lol decided to be nice this time and didn't give me any strange audio or visual issues (that I'm not used to). Maybe it was being nice to me since, at the time of posting this, it is my birthday. Either way, this is the smoothest one of these has gone in a while.

As they should, and honestly, how could we not? This 32/33 yr old man has the audacity to unironically rp a vampire at his place of work and expects not to get bullied. smh. Love this sad vampire man. The fact that Barok cannot escape being bullied really does make me laugh though. It's what he gets for being racist. And arguably the best thing is that Barok just lets it happen.

@@Adroit_Maelstrom The fact that his debut scene in Adventures is literally him at the prosecutor's bench with his cape wrapped up around himself in the Old Bailey pretty much implies that he can and should be bullied by the other in game characters. The scene in Resolve where Iris and Ryunosuke visit his office and just bully him to his face is what he deserves xD

@@l.n.3372 When I say rping a vampire, that's exactly the scene I was thinking of even though he's just always kind of like that. Seeing him in the sun in 2-3 is still the wildest thing to me. Go back inside sir. You're going to combust if you stay out here. That's one of my favorite moments in DGS.

3 things: 1) still enjoy your videos! But I'll admit, the transition from clear HD sprites to the blurry ones was a bit distracting. I can understand if not every sprite available is in HD tho. Just some food for thought. 2) Kazuma is basically the "I've come to London to fuck up your day, sir" as per canon. So it fits. 3) the Jigoku and Kazuma scene here was unexpectedly hilarious. Kudos good sir for pleasantly surprising me!

Yes, I'm aware and it's why I largely avoid using them. By this point you've seen all the HD models I have been able to find and because I try and stick largely to those models, it limits what I can do. It's why you only ever see Susato in her DLC outfit for example. I'll keep it in mind though! Edit: As far as I know, all the HD models have been personal projects from different members in the community, whereas all the other models have just been ripped from in-game 3DS files. With Chronicles out, maybe these models will get updated sometime soon though. I hope so! I'd love to include more characters more often. It makes me wish I had gotten GAAC for the comp rather than Switch so I could dig into the files myself to see if I could make some of my own models. Kazuma is always ready to give van Zieks a hard time. I'm glad that Jigoku and Kazuma scene hit well with people. I was hoping people would like it as much as I did.

@@Adroit_Maelstrom I'll never complain about DLC outfits for Susato or Ryunosuke. I honestly like them better than their default outfits, because I played most of Resolve with them (save for case 1 with Ryutaro, obviously). They're so pretty and Ryunosuke really appreciated having something more detailed than his plain black student uniform xD I played the Chronicles on Switch too. But I can understand why the computer version would help you more for this type of stuff. But there should be HD sprites already considering that they were available in Japan on non 3DS platforms since like 2019, I think. I'm pretty sure that Japan got both Great Ace Attorney games on Android and PC years before they got localized. I guess it's technically a spoiler warning for the stuff in this video, given the scene you referenced, but I've long since finished both games so there's nothing to spoil me.

I was the same way and used the DLC outfits for most of my DGS 2 playthrough. I just think they fit so well with everyone else especially since [2-3 spoilers] Kazuma and Mikotoba get western outfits. It's much easier to dig into files on a PC than a console. Not impossible of course, but I'm not very savvy in that department so I'd like as much help as possible lmao. And I believe you're right, but the western DGS fanbase was quite small before GAAC was released and so while the assets were available, there were few people who were willing to dig past the more readily available 3DS files to make models for objection.lol. With the files more readily available now and the western fanbase growing much larger, it's just now more likely that HD models will crop up for the other characters. Not only that but I won't say no to new HD models for characters that already have them. I would love a Ryu that includes his armband and Karuma (I know this exists already but I have no access to it), cape VZ, and normal Susato for example.

@@Adroit_Maelstrom Yeah, it's honestly refreshing at how many characters get "multiple outfits" so to speak. I know that the DLC costumes aren't canon, but just having a costume swap is so nice to see. I guess, technically, spoilers below but you seem to already know the entire game so .... 1) Ryunosuke has his student uniform and the DLC. 2) Susato has her traditional outfit and the DLC. 3) Iris has her normal outfit and the "purple great exhibition" outfit. 4) Herlock has his familiar coat and hat, his waistcoat, and his DLC. 5) Kazuma has the student uniform too, masked apprentice (with the mask and cloak), and the Japanese flag inspired prosecutor outfit. 6) Barok has the cloak (where most of his outfit is completely hidden), and then he has new sprites for when he takes off his cloak. 7) Gina has the game 1 outfit (pickpocket), she puts on the old, bloody coat, and then she has the game 2 outfit (inspector Lestrade). 8) Mikotoba has his traditional clothes and his Western suit. 9) even Judge Jigoku has a clothing swap between his judge attire and his Western clothes. 10) Hosonaga has by far the most palette swaps lmao he goes from a waiter to a sailor to a beach side swimmer, and the Japan side DLC has him as a barber. Clearly, this guy is the main character xD ironically, tho, we never actually get to see his detective/inspector outfit. 11) Soseki Natsume has his London outfit and his beach side tourist outfit too. 12) Jezaille Brett technically has 2 outfits: swan lake outfit and the beach side outfit. What I wouldn't have given, tho, to actually get Barok and Kazuma with in game sprites wearing their casual outfits from that picture in the game 2 art book! They're so handsome!
