Be careful of those logs. Although I have never had first hand experience with it, I've been told that if the keel folds up as it rides over an underwater obstacle, when it clears the obstacle, the keel drops suddenly and can crack the keel trunk, sinking the boat.

I added more fiberglass with 2 part epoxy to keel trunk. It's definitely a butt pucker moment when it drops back down. Even just a tiny bit
