The Great Plains Railroad -- Private HO Basement Model Railroad Layout: Scenes & Cab Ride.

In the basement of Vernon F., a retired BNSF Conductor who lives in Mandan, ND, is a huge HO layout. It consists of 1,000 feet of track, 500 feet of mainline, 500 feet of industry track, 200 powered switches, 90 electron magnets, and a fully functional signal system. Vern spent 5 years building his layout which is very nicely done.
