I miss seeing us play LSU at War Memorial. Watched some great games there.

Sure they may not want to but I don’t really care what LSU wants. It was a great stadium for an awesome atmosphere for that game. A little closer for them technically too lol. But yes it’s an old stadium that needs some updates for sure. I’m not that upset about games no longer being played in Little Rock and I don’t live in Arkansas anymore. It’s just nostalgic remembering those classic battles we had there and I grew up about 45 min from Little Rock.

All in all, Arkansas Athletics finished 19th in the 2024 Diectors Cup. Being a Hog grad, I love reminding Cornhusket fans up here that Nebraska with its 4 more scholarship sports (bowling is still not a sport) finished 22nd.

Imo, WMS should continue to be used for whatever our Thanksgiving week game is. I don't think the attendance in Fayetteville will ever be great that week without us being in the top 15

I will Always want Arkansas and Arkansas St to play each other no matter how high people head are in the clouds about you look playing a lesser team that could surprise you, I wish Little Rock fix War Memorial and find a team that will play there

Brah - War Memorial was a WPA project built back in 1948. Agree great venue and tailgating on/around the golf course. But time to move on. Home games need to be in Fayetteville on the main campus -period. When the games are elsewhere - like Jerry World or LR- I believe there is either an NCAA or SEC rule that states any type of contact or recruiting efforts at that location cannot occur. So our recruiting efforts suffer when we lose those opportunities. Sure the University can send them tickets to attend the game in Dallas but no one can talk to them.

Stadiums: though I accept the reality of the situation, as a fan raised in Fayetteville, I have always disliked playing the games in LR. F*&k 'em, they had their chance to get the UofA back in 1870 or whenever it was. A-State--well, I can see why Broyles always refused to play them: losing to them would have been worse than losing to The Citadel. But these days...considering the state of Arkansas football, how bad can losing to A-State be? I do have one major beef, and this again goes back to being raised in Fayetteville and my dislike for playing games in LR: I have always HATED that the SEC decided to end the season-ending day-after-T'giving game with LSU in favor of trying to create a rivalry with Mizzou--which still has not happened--and because they thought A&M/LSU was more high-profile; furthermore, WTF was up with that scheduling of home-and-home ONLY with LR and B. Rouge? We played them in Fayetteville our first year in the SEC in 1992 and then did not play them in Fayetteville again for TWENTY years (2012.) HATED that.

? Brah we have primo facilities in Fayetteville. Student life is great and the area in NW Ark is literally booming up there. Not sure what you are talking about. There are no pro teams competing for attention like in most states. College football, basketball and baseball are THE sports in Arkansas.
