Can I just say I am blown away by this very well timed sermon. I am a Christian (not Catholic), although not of the same denomination as yourselves, I thank you for your boldness for the Lord and for your straight up spiritual reality check. God bless you Shane, your church, your ministry through these birth pangs we are feeling globally. Take Shane's advice, SWITCH OFF YOUR TELL LIE VISION (plus video games, social media, Hollywood movies, secular music) and get back to God and your family as a matter of urgency. I myself have not owned a TV in many years, which takes us away from our life source, GOD THE CREATOR. God bless you all and may we endure to the end. God is GOOD and deserves so much more from us ALL, through good and bad days.. He is remaining faithful... are WE??

Church should be held in a home (small groups of people) sharing a meal together; no one person preaching the gospel, but rather everyone has input. Elders were godly men from within that had demonstrated spiritual maturity. Paul worked for his living, but was supported by cheerful givers, too. The western concept of "church" needs to be reevaluated based upon the biblical model.

Blessings have unfortunately turned the church to complacency in the US. We got to comfortable, gave into PC culture, and gave into fear. We all need to be getting on our knees before God and ask God to change us. Like David said create in me a clean heart and a right spirit. If we have extra we need to give what we can to our fellow humans. We need to be getting out there and telling people about Jesus and His mercy and grace. We need to reflect God in all our actions and lives so that the lost know and can see Jesus is real and that He changed us. This will show God's glory to the world. I'm not just talking to everyone else but to myself as well.

As Ephesians 6:12 says our fight is not against Flesh and Blood. We need to pray for the population of the world. our fight is against principalities. Our fight is Against Satan's domain and his deception on the world and the Church. Once the Church starts preaching the Gospel message it becomes a threat to Satan. Keeping in mind who the fight is with and how to fight it. Fight the right fight the right way. Through prayer and preaching the Gospel message the Great Commission is accomplished. The command still stands. Pray for pastors, presidents, the fellow laborers sharing the Gospel, and the next generation of believers. And pray for those who hate you. 1 Thess 5:14 warn the idle. Are we going to be like some of the the 1st century believers in Thessalonica who were Idle waiting for the Lords return? We need to be working. "When the Prince of Peace is rejected by the World there will be no peace in the World." "When the Church rejects the Prince of Peace..there is Judgement."

Yes that’s partially true some will hear Gospel message de robe the covering of evil and Satan and take on the robe of righteousness, and God. But the evil and demons coming from Satan are affecting people on the earth and they subject us to tribulations. So yes our force of evil is spiritual but it’s targeted on a physical level to a person to do the deeds of the devil. This is why sin go to hell and eternal damnation. Because anyone who does the will of Satan will end up where Satan is.
