That's not the reason why China built Great Walls (for thounsand years thru many dinasties and emperors). I visited the Great Walls when I was in China. The walls were on the mountains gliding almost across the length of north China. They're magnificent structures😊

I like the period. I always like to see different fighting techniques. The weapons were crude but it's how they were used that makes it interesting.

In the rest of the movie they try to capture a tao tei and tried to isolate it from the others with fire but it wasn't enough to hold or kill the monsters

It feels like they're just trying to make it seem like women are doing something meaningful in movies, and u will see that a lot in newer movies, they're just changing the main character to a female in every new film to push a feminist or LGBTQ agenda, and that's not my thing. When I watch a movie with a male main character, I can really immerse myself in the story. However, when the main character is female, it feels strange to me, especially when she's in a romantic relationship with a man. It becomes odd because when I watch, I feel like I'm the main character , that's why i only watch a movie if the MC is male.

Matt Damon is great but they should have flipped gender of lead roles would have appealed to asian audience while also giving something bold to western audience as well
