@@Wheelchair_Sam551 - don’t try to parry everything - get comfortable feinting heavy attacks (O on PlayStation, B on Xbox) - focus on just blocking light attacks and heavy attacks until you get better at parrying - try to interrupt the orange attacks (unblockables) with light attacks (don’t do this too often, as people will catch on) - if you’re going to emote do it far away, there are a lot of dirty players who will interrupt your emote - play duels to improve your 1v1 ability - play dominion to improve your anti gank ability - stay away from breach, tribute, and elimination you won’t get better by playing those modes you will only develop bad habits - if you want to practice getting light parry’s, go into training and fight a Highlander bot - if you want to practice getting deflects and crushing counters, go into training and fight a Hitokiri bot - I would recommend turning on performance mode in the display section in settings, it gives you more frames to play with (blocking will be easier) - I would recommend increasing your FOV setting to max in the display section in settings, it’ll let you see your surroundings more clearly so there’s less of a chance to get surprised attack - I would recommend going into advanced controls and then into the fine controls tuning section in settings and manually adjusting the numbers to what you think would be best for you (I recommend turning the deadzone down to anywhere between 1-5, the rest of the numbers are up to you) - don’t let people’s negativity/toxicity get to you, they’re just trying to get an emotional response from you which will hinder your ability to make correct reads - every hero is different, learning how each hero works will help you defend against them better - stay calm those are the tips for general gameplay here are some tips for valk, I only have her rep 5 so I can only help out a little bit - don’t light spam too much - throw heavy attacks more often - feint your heavy attacks into a guard break if your attacks are getting parried - use your bash but try to mix it up with your light attacks and heavy attacks, you want to keep your opponent guessing - valk has a deflect and a crushing counter, to crushing counter press the light attack button instead of the heavy attack when you see the white flash from an attack (the same timing as if you were trying to parry an attack) and to do her deflect (she has 2) dodge into an attack last second and press the guard break button which guarantees a heavy attack, the other option for the deflect is pressing the heavy attack button instead of the guard break button which will guarantee a heavy attack that inflicts bleed damage (practice these in training against multiple different hero’s) - valks zone attack is very good (light attack and heavy attack at the same time) - light attack / light attack / heavy attack - light attack / light attack / guard break button - heavy attack / light attack / guard break button - light attack / heavy attack / light attack - I would recommend playing kyoshin after valk that’s all I have for now my friend, if you have anymore questions feel free to message me 🙏🏻

This was dope but both teams were already breaking. Me & 3 friends (one being a girl who was not great at the game) did a last stand where we were @ 550 score vs 1000+ (in breaking) & we decided to just sit at A & make our last stand. We won every group fight & pushed them into breaking w/ 2sec left on the game timer, so it reset, then we won the match cuz they kept pushing to kill us. THAT was the best clutch ever lol.
