When I was just an 8-year-old boy, I remember crying my heart out after watching this. Now at 37, it still stands as the saddest death in any TV show I've seen. Sure, Ned Stark and Daenerys in Game of Thrones and George Cooper in Young Sheldon came close, but this one holds a special place in my heart. This show, along with its music, brings back memories of the happiest times in my childhood, spent with my parents. A heartfelt thank you to the creators. You have no idea how beloved this show remains in 🇱🇰 Sri Lanka to this day.
