Aarava, when you are 1 & 2 have your lead car on rarely defend so he keeps to the racing line, have your following car on low risk overtaking and don't fight team mate (Drive in clean air to help with temps if needed) that way they can just pull away without compromising each others racing lines. It has worked for me a few times.
