Seles no doubt shone brightly for a fairly brief few years. Her being stabbed by a crazed person certainly didnt help prolong her rein , but as others point out , she had down times / ebs n flows prier to the event - and got to this final pushing to the limit after. For longevity at the top , and all round as a player its hard not to regignize Graf as one of the true greats

Longevity, technique, you name it. GOAT, along with Nadal and Djokovic. We are graced with three marvels and the same time.
