As a Delhi main that was tough to watch at the end. I think if Crackedy would have tried to secure the sacred sights instead of attacking traders he may have won. It would’ve been tough to defend but better than throwing units away against outposts.

Once the stalemate was hit, this game was always going to end when the wood ran out. Crackedy was strangled to death by towers with emplacements.

So around 10 minutes the silver tree was blocked with walls and orange brings most of his army to take it back. This was the perfect time to attack oranges base. Hit and run if need be. Lure them into your fresh troops. If they go back to attack the walls, attack the base again.

You could return rams back to their release state and they would be more balanced than they are today. They are so cheap and take so little damage from anything, making them abusable to spam. These are not noobs, they are the top players who are spamming them in imperial. They have been changed so many times that it feels the devs don't know what they are doing.

Crackedy deserved to lose this. The amount of army he squandered fighting traders under outposts, instead of focusing the outposts and dropping keeps on the trade posts. There were multiple times he had the army advantage, and simply had to use those times to do something productive.

What a game. I think the biggest mistake by cracked was not having defensive springalds to deal with rams. 5 springald shot kills a ram. And with the range he would easily be able to deal with the rams behind all the defense. But ofc this was a utter madness if a game!

Delhi springalds are generic, they suck vs the best springalds in the game possessed by the mongols. If he made them (a big mistake) kaup would easily counter them. Sorry but you're wrong, delhi siege sux and is the reason they will never be a great late civ.

@@Bambabah you dont use the springalds against mongol springalds. You use them to deterr the Rams. Dheli had plenty of cavalry. Lest you forget that cavalry is also anti siege. Rams have to get in melee range, making dheli springalds can stay well behind the frontline far of reach from mongol superior springalds. Strategy my friend. Strategy.

the game shouldn’t be balanced based on games that go an hour and fifteen minutes long, the tower spam is hardly something you see in a typical game, same with the bounty, he only got that because all the farms were so out of position kaup saw an opportunity to take advantage of and he did, he is just a smart player and made a smart play if there is something to take away from this game it’s that trade is too easy, it’s weird to me are missing that for other non-issues

Spoilers: Crackedy deleted about 2/3rds of his villagers for the final push on the Wonder. You can see him delete like 30 of them at 1:09:10 and eventually he goes all the way down to 40 vills. After the push fails he's got nothing left in the tank. Absolutely brutal game.

But, it was a much beautiful "Piece of Art"! - If this was something you've witnessed as Greatness, Half of that enthusiasm and environment was created by "Crackedy" and "Kaup" -- and it was catalyzed and made a piece of beauty by caster "Aussie"! - How many times have I been sad, due to some reasons, came to system, and had smiles with this casting masterpiece after masterpiece. - I know a lot of names of champions -- Beasty, Don_Artie, Kaup, 1puppyPaw, Crackedy, GUI, etc. --all via Aussies channel, have never ever been to their streams, still I know such great deal of them; - That game of GUI, where he was contained in 1/4 islands and expanded, turned tables and won game -- Glad! Aussie mentioned that one, In beginning there was 1 castle that would have sealed fate, had that been made after taking control of 3 islands, but GUI had stopped that at all costs; - I'm so glad of these moments, that this word has given me, by seeing aboslute madness - and using 1hr out of my life to watch this Great Tussle of Titans. - I feel the same as if watching in 1990s Ind v Aus, cricket game - and Tony_grieg + Geoffy Boycott are the commentators. - I feel the same as if watching WWF (Attitude Era) and Jimm_Ross and Jerry_Lawyer are adding fuel and power from Mike as commentators. - I feel the swing of Andre_Agassis racket, and spin of "Murlidharan" -- all watching, this cast. * I feel Aussie, you don't do commentary and casting from your Mouth, its all because you do it ----> Right from Your heart!! * You bring smiles not by fakery, or trying extra-smart! Really glad channels like Drongo's are hitting these view counts b/c the more people who play Age the better the community is. But I just can't understand why people like Age 4. This whole game was just about spamming armies and buildings. There's really no thought or strategy behind it. Age 3 has so many more dynamics to it and has so many cooler elements to it. If Age 3 got revamped like Age 2 did it would be next level. Oh well at least people are happy? 🤷

I always have found rams were too strong even before lightweight beams. For comparison a single ram wont take out a castle in AoE2 castle will kill it before it half health. Rams here are just too tanky, you could just throw one villager per ram and it would kill it, here it can tanks several dozen horseman which do extra adamage to them. Just yesterday i had a siege off like this in an english mirror, springalds saved me but still...

That's my biggest problem with Delhi and why I'm considering switching mains. They work hard as hell to barely get ahead--- and then when you do--- then what your units don't really dominate-- they are incredibly slow and well they are sorta tanky but once you lose AND YOU WILL LOSE your priests your army is going down soon after. Unlike hell, let China, Rus, France, or English get ahead of you and you'll be in a world of hurt--- heck even HRE can get pretty fiesty if they make some really decent plays but idk DS feels like they are just falling behind anything meta.
