I can`t remember the 25th of Dec ever mentioned in scrtpture ..........I think you`ll find its a pagen festival from ancient Rome called Saturnalia. Christ was not born in December !

Agree with you David. However, during the so-called festive season each year, people may be more receptive to spiritual matters. To a lesser extent, similar occurs at Easter - yet that also is more of a pagan custom. More relevant as far as I'm concerned are Passover and Pentecost. Blessings

Nicky Gumbel, your probably not gonna see this comment and that’s ok but I just want to say thank you so much for doing “the Bible in one year 2020” on the Bible app. I listen to it everyday and was so excited to see that you did another “the Bible in one year 2021 edition”. I was hoping for that too. I just started the new one on New Years just like I did to the one before. It’s because one of the best things I did during my day. It just became a habit for me to listen to. Listening to you and Pippa made me happy and I’m truly grateful. Thank you so much. I love you both and as always, God bless

Thank you for emphasizing God's love for us so that we can go on to witness to that Holy Love in the lives of other people who are so often despairing these days of the pandemic. I love seeing your smile again. We first met in St John's Church in Ontario and later I came to Holy Trinity in London when we here home for a month in summer of 2004.
