I never really knew the M1911 was so important to the story of the Original MW Trilogy, but to me, the M1911 is iconic for me because of it being the starting weapon in Zombies. We had the Colt M1911 in WaW, the M1911 on all BO1 & BO2 maps(besides Origins), the BO3 version of the M1911 on all the Zombies Chronicles maps(except for Origins, again), and finally it can be used in Cold War(it's not as iconic in Cold War, but the weapon still persist even if it isn't nearly as good).

The .45. The weapon that helped our great grandfathers and grandfathers in vietnam, ww2, and the first world war win the war. This weapon has so much history behind it. And also I love using the 45 in zombies and turning it to mustang and sally. The incredible stopping power it has irl just blows me away. i love call of duty so much. every game from 2007-2012 was so good, MW3 2011 is a personal favorite of mine. i loved playing alongside price, soap, and team metal as yuri and frost. not to mention that you play as some other characters like harkov and burns. also, the M1911 is my favorite gun OAT in games and IRL
