@@LarsAgerbk Thank for your comments, I share your view that the F1 was the pinnacle of automotive creation at its time of creation, I have a different view as to if it was the sweet spot Gordon Murry is without doubt one of the most clear thinking designers our industry has ever encountered, but the F1 is a snapshot in time. Murry himself has created successors in the T series of cars based upon latest engineering practices and technologies. Technologies move forward and offer the automotive community opportunities to create more technically sophisticated products, The sweet spot is when you have the maximum diverse range of technically outstanding cars at a given time and I still believe that is today. I am more than happy to conceded that the F1 was the catalyst for all cars post its inception as it was the first car to offer performance, with optimised packaging and near perfect attribute balance. A sample size of two is possibly too small for a subjective based opinion, perhaps its a wider question for the wider automotive community

@@Seeee63 Not really, since the main reason he went for the non assetto fiorana was the softer ride and nose lift if I remember correctly So some cosmetic changes and louder exhaust note shouldn't go against that

Tim, how on earth do you recall all of the car names and designations so quickly and often from afar?So many out on the track look very similar from a distance. Do you use flash cards to memorise them all? Your detailed knowledge and speed of recognition never fail to amaze and astound me. Mastermind - specialist subject, supercars - you'd nail it.

It's really impressive, especially when you get cars by the likes of Porsche and Mclaren which, let's be honest, can look very similar. He not only knows the model, but also options, and colour (by code) instantly 👍
