From 2017 onwards you need to consider how many penalties get awarded + the low level of competition especially since 2020. Drogba and Lampard in the 2009/2010 season shared penalties between each other, so they could have ranked higher. It is between Henry and Ronaldo though, I would love to see messi come to the league at his late age and enter the conversation though!

Maybe revisit this question with another video, taking into account that Suarez wasn't Liverpool's penalty taker for his incredible season. He'd have won the Ballon Dor, except that they didn't want a biter to win it and fair enough, that award isn't only about performances but this video is. Not only did Suarez score an insane amount of goals that season, check out the quality of those goals. He definitely had the best season of any player mentioned here. I would still say that Henry was the best PL forward ever, because he performed to an incrediblestandard for many seasons.

In my opinion, you could refine the criteria if you wanted to, by seeing how impactful the G/A were (for example a hat trick in a 5-0 is less impactful than 3 goals in 3 1-0 matches) and also maybe the g/a vs the other top teams/ tittle contenders but it would be too much work and also depends on what you value. I think based on numbers and the eye test, I'd put Suarez 13/14, Ronaldo 07/08, Henry 03/04, and Salah 17/18 all above the Henry 02/03 season, in that order. Henry 02/03 was a special season, but watching him play in 03/04 he was a completely different animal.

You could have made this video much better, it’s lazy to just go by the player with most G+A = best season You should have created a metric system and given points to certain achievemnts, like winning the league, most goals vs top 4, away goals, winning goals, games scored in,, really looked deep into the stats. Henry in 02/03 scored 3 penalties and got 6 assists in the last two games when the title was gone because Arsenal bottled it. Stats without context are useless.

It's not intended to be the definitive best season video as noted in the assessment section. Plan is to go deeper in future videos, but this was more of a straight to the point, universally understandable discussion.
