We definitely take our entrances seriously here in South Carolina. When they replaced the lights with the LED lights and it brought it even to a whole new level. Last season we even had Derude himself come and DJ the entrance and of course "Sandstorm".

@@darbs1832 I remember it took me and a few friends over an hour to get to stadium suites after the game. It probably would've been faster walking. The way we've been playing we may never see a night like it again because top level play will almost be expected in the not so distant future.

This is from last year's game vs Kentucky when we had Darude as a guest of honor (Sandstorm is the Gamecock anthem, look up videos of his reaction to this experience it's pretty good). I recommend checking out this year's night game against Texas A&M (just last weekend) as well as the post game when we rushed the field. The production value has arguably gone up.

The most recent game was electric!! You need to see all of Pre-game from our incredible band, to our mascot Cocky's entrance from the Cockaboose through to "Sandstorm." And the end of this last game!! It's an absolute MUST SEE!! We love our Gamecocks!🤙🏻🐓

I got the best view of the storming of the field and we could tell the instant people planned to rush the field with five minutes remaining watching the student section (directly across the field) all rush towards the front leaving the back half completely open. My only regret is being unable to get on the field.

That night Darude was in the house too! We're one of the few programs that the TV programs will take the time to show our pre-game entrance and other festivities. Our game day crew, media team, etc really turned up the experience in the past five years. With so many sports fans deciding to watch from home you have to offer an experience you can't get just by watching on TV.

So glad you liked it! I grew up in South Carolina, and the Gamecocks are my team, even despite the fact that I'm living out of state now. The team's colors are garnet and black, and at home games they will wear some combination of those colors.This season is still in progress, and of course no one knows how it will turn out, but Gamecock fans are hoping for the best. From age 12 until my stepdad died we had season tickets. Good seats some. But the best seats were directly over the tunnel where they emerge. It is spine chilling excitement....Go Gamecocks

I’ve seen plenty of people say it already but allow me add to the pile. This is an amazing video, and this was an important game BUT we were clinging by a thread to the hope of becoming bowl eligible after a mostly disappointing season at the time of this game, I promise you that’s not even close to the peak of how electric that environment can get when this team is really rolling. And as others have stated, this video doesn’t even come CLOSE to being there in person where you can literally physically feel sounds of the crowd yelling and the music booming. It’s an experience I hope you and many others get a chance to come check out some day! Go Gamecocks!

I have to admit, the Noles at night it is hands down for me. The planting of the spear on fire from a top a rearing horse with the whole stadium doing the chop is something else. That takes actual skill to pull off without getting yourself seriously injured or killed. The demon Decon on a chopper at Wake is cool. I like bikes so I’m biased there. Vt’s enter sand man is fun . This is cool, the music choice and the fog machine trick, too. Canes do the fog. I think they started that. But it’s simplistic, like most. It’s just some music played loud and a fog machine. But an excellent choice of music no doubt.

South Carolina also happens to have one of the best videographers/directors in the country in Justin King who makes these promotional films. They are so incredible that other colleges and the NFL want to emulate what South Carolina does. What high school kid could watch this and not want to experience playing there?
