This is an incredible place. It has interiors of no less than a 5 star hotel but the food is quite budget friendly. And extra points for the way they have represented Punjabi culture in their restaurant. It felt nothing short of a museum.

I have been to Jalandhar Haveli quite a few times. This one in Amritsar is bigger and with more artifacts, heritage depiction. It feels good how they are presenting our heritage. Thanks for showing the detailed tour to the world. You are gaining respect and love day by day 🤝

Lovely restaurant,, does look so beautiful, the dresses and vest is a lil funny but it adds to the Punjab experience. I like how the waiter touches his chest in genuine kindness. Around the 12:00 mark. I really like the way they serve the food in trays like a buffet lol that looks fun to eat, with variety, here not much variety. So fun to watch the taste testing lol I watch to see the reaction to each. I don't see much fruits. But yeah the presentation is awesome. Thanks for explaining everything, it makes me feel like I'm there experiencing with you guys. I wonder why they wear circle hats. The food doesn't look greasy or fattening like here lol

I lived in Punjab when the first Haveli opened near Jalandhar and it was the rage. There was nothing like that anywhere near surrounding states and it was such a novel concept that so many others started copying it. My sister went to college in Amritsar and I used to drive there all the time while stopping at Haveli in Jalandhar for a bite. The concept was to represent true Punjabi culture in a clean yet modern setting. In Jalandhar dining area they would have traditional Punjabi utensils, tools, art, murals etc displayed on the wall. The truck and tractor also are part of the culture. Punjab is mainly an agricultural state and a lot of Punjabi are or used to be truck drivers. Hence a truck and tractor. That truck inside the dining area is an iconic thing about the Haveli that everyone talks about. I have been to Jalandhar and Murthal many times and this one in Amritsar seems to be 3 times the size of others. As someone who has been brought up in Punjab, as much as I find food of Haveli to be very good, in my opinion, there are many better options to eat in Amritsar (kesar da Dahab, Brother's Dhaba etc). However they will not be as grand and will lack the sophistication and presentation of Haveli for sure. Cheers!

Eating rice and daal/sabzi with your hands is a Southern Indian thing, and not common at all up North. Here in Panjaab, we just mix the rice and daal/sabzi with a spoon. And the sweet milky rice dish is kheer, which is a desert and is meant to be eaten at the end of the meal, to sweet the mouth after the spicy main courses.

Bro I wasn’t gonna say anything but you need to work on how you greet people, your not in America this is india where it’s multicultural religious and everyone has their own way they greet others, you can’t just walk up to a “Sikh” working at the cash register and say Namaste, the proper way is “Sat Sri Akal” same as if you walk up to a Hindu or Muslim and say Sat Sri Akal it just doesn’t make sense to them. Words have a meaning and a big impact on others they feel you relate to them at a deeper level. They are nice and accept it as you being a foreigner but it’s not proper. I watched your other videos your start to learn but then you forget or just get lazy, I honesty believe you will get better results if you first learn the proper way to greet then learn other words…
