Step behind the curtain and be prepared to be dazzled and overcome with awe as I take you down the path of auditory excellence. This cerebral adventure would leave even Stephen Hawking mentally exhausted with all of it's intellectual acrobatics and advanced concepts. Hold onto your cerebellum as we dive into the mysteries.
Yah.... Ok..... It is actually more like that commercial, "it's So Easy A Caveman Could Do It" And guess what??? He did!
And I may have overstated the title just a tinny bit.

Your sound is super clean Jay. Your reverb is perfect with your vocals too. You’ve mastered this science buddy...

Hey, I have never used a DAW, I am considering, Mixcraft Reaper Studio One And mixbus 6 What are your thoughts, sound is everything to me which is why mixbus appeals. - I get that it may be a steeper learning curve but think it would be good for me to learn the old school way?

Thanks for the question. This is going to be an indirect answer but an answer none the less. I will say it is VERY subjective and heavily dependent on what you wish to achieve and the type of work you are doing. My purely biased opinion is that Mixbus just sounds better to my ears. I know code is code!. Just my opinion. Mixcraft: I have never used Mixcraft so I have no point of reference. Also, I don't happen to know anyone else who is. Sorry not helpful there. Reaper: I have not used reaper in a very long time. I liked it just fine from what I recollect. I do know several folks who use this all the time and love it. Studio One: I love studio one and have been super happy with version 4. I have been a studio one user since it came out. It currently is not my go-to but it gets used. I find it hard to get a response some times from customer service. Mixbus 6: I can't sing Harrison's praises enough!!! I love this DAW and their Customer service is shockingly good. Version 6 seems to be their answer to the functionality of other DAW's. And frankly, contrary to popular belief.... I do hear a difference in each DAW.

I Use both Reaper and Mixbus. Mixbus doesn't have a steep learning curve...Reaper does but is totally customizable, you can configure it in almost anyway imaginable with completely different workflows and themes. You can demo it for as long as you like. I prefer Reaper for composition and Mixbus for mixing. Mixbus uses more CPU while Reaper hardly Uses any and you can get higher track and plug-in counts there is A LOT more features in reaper and it's pretty insane and they have a very extensive video tutorial series. However, for mixing I prefer Mixbus's simplicity, workflow, signal-flow, and sound. But like Jay said it's pretty subjective. And both Reaper and Mixbus are very inexpensive.
