@@hamburgercheese3974 you and the other reply are so right, the whole team is so in sync with each other. However, Team 1 especially has the best synergy imo, and they’re supposed to be the weakest members of the Sonic Team. Rouge just debuted in this tournament, and so far she has consistently managed to take each member of whatever team they’re fighting down to low HP before ever switching out. When she does get low and switches out though, she brings Tails, who was already putting in the work by using his Level 3 Super as an assist, onto the battlefield to finish things off. This leaves Blaze with full HP by the end of the match, as she spends the whole thing playing pure support with her assists. We have yet to see Blaze properly get a chance to fight. I honestly dread the episode where the Sonic Team loses Round 1, because when that happens, that’s how you will know their run in the winner’s bracket is over.

@@TheCoolerIdeasGuy the weakest team having a good synergy to make up for it just makes them the best group on the team. While you have your one man army with sonic and some heavy hitters on the second team, it's possible to just overwhelm them if they can't utilize their assist (or their teammates just suck in comparison. Looking at you shadow), and get widdled down as a result. Team 1 doesn't have that problem since they can cover each other in rotation regardless of who's on the field, and they're all decently strong as individuals

Majority of the modes used for canon characters are forms used in their media. All sonic's forms are canon (except his all red fire form), Scourge and his forms are canon to the archie comics, ect The only exceptions are Nazo and Seelkadoom being popular fan characters, and Silver's hyper form not being canon (at least, he hasn't been seen to use one), and again sonic's red fire form

@@omexyl1752 Well, Knuckles can go Hyper in Sonic 3 & Knuckles, but there aren’t any visual differences between Super Knuckles and Hyper Knuckles, so people usually just ignore it. It’s why Knuckles in Mugen has four modes: A Shield, Super Knuckles, Chaos Knuckles (Archie Comics), and Enerjak (also Archie Comics).

Despite this, Sonic isn’t as broken as people think. He has 0 gimmicks, just a combo character. A simple instant combo break (which most mugens have) is enough to put him down easily as shown with lemilion and todoroki.

I can kinda see it with Sonic, but it only stands out with him because he transforms earlier in health than most others. Goku and Vegeta have equal or more forms, never really see complaints with them.
