hell no, it's unnecessary, not only is he the only character in the tournament who is told about non-canonical transformations compared to his manga, but he is the one who gets the most life after transforming..., only recently many characters from other teams are catching up with how absurd the DB and JJK characters were, they literally put the most broken teams to fight each other, for now Goku is fine as is, given that other characters have non-canonical versions in reference to video games or movie transformations are not added...
