Napanood ko sya maglaro ng personal sa brgy namin, grabe yung laki ng hita at binti pag sumagasa sa gitna lilipad ka talaga. Ga troso yung bita nya na tipong pag humarang ka parang binalibagan ka ng troso. Ang lakas nya pag bumangga bibitbitin ka talaga sa ere. Pag hinawi ka ng braso tilapon ka talaga. Imaginne running at full speed tapos haharang ka parang sinagasaan ka ng truck. Fly high idolo.

I can still recall at the old Utra in Pasig City, whenever Samboy has the ball in his hands leading a fastbreak,people were up from their seats because they knew for sure something spectacular was about to happen.Such was the electricity that he brought to the game and no other player can do that except him. I will never forget those moments. He played every game like it was the last game of his life. Thank you so much Samboy.Rest in peace Legend. ❤️❤️❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

he definitely could fly, hang, sidestep. he and Chip were raining three's on the US in the 1985 Jones Cup. he was just too brittle. I remember watching him when the surgery scars on his shoulders(!!) were still much more visible. and that's just some of the upper body injuries, let alone the knees, ankles.
