While there are some really good themes in here.. I just want to take a moment to appreciate how much praise 4th gen was given in this video. I love Sinnoh, not as much as Unova, but it deserves so much more attention, and with how much criticism it gets, its one of the lesser chosen games out there. But Sinnoh will always stay true to my heart (also it has the best bicycle theme :3)

well, the player can choose any starter so he can have any starter as well, just like red, who haves all 3.

^As said above. Also, different versions of the same character in different things have different teams, including a different starter pokemon. In the pokemon games, Red has all three starters. In Origins, he gets a Charizard. In the manga, he gets a Venusaur. Same with Brendan - in the Anime he gets a Sceptile, but in the Manga (as Ruby) he has a Swampert. It really depends on what version of the character you're talking about. For all we know, this Brendan is different from the ORAS Brendan.

+Gaspoo 1:27 to 2:25, 3:17 to 4:29, 5:58 to 6:58, 10:23 to 12:11, 14:03 to 16:03, 16:04 to 17:27, 17:28 to 19:46. So much of the new music (gen 4 and beyond) is bad... I've come back to it many times and approached it with an open mind. It does have share of good tunes (not all good, not all bad), but whenever Nintendo tries to take an 8-bit song and turn it into a MIDI song, it loses all of its intensity and becomes a wimpy shadow of its former self. Overall, it hurts to see Nintendo taint a once-legendary franchise with unoriginal new pokemon (how many fucking variations of butterfree/venonat/beautifly/dustox/mothim can we have???); a complete lack of TV show storyline, plot, & character development, except as a marketing tool; and gameplay which is now so G-rated and facile that it caters to 4-year-olds. Hopefully Pokemon Go will turn this thing around.

And also, if you don't like the more "techno" themes, then try Route 216, the Night Pokémon Center theme, Mt. Coronet, the Pokémon Leauge, Hall of Origin, Eterna Forest, or even Snowpoint City.
