*My goals for this Old School Runescape series are to just have fun, complete every quest in the game, I’m trying to avoid guides + plug-in like quest helper (wiki allowed when all else fails and wiki used number go up!) and most importantly try my best to not die on my HCIM! This is a fairly recent quest. The development team have been making some incredible quests in recent years; Some of the best in any MMO. Most of them are on the serious side though, and the players started to talk about how they kinda missed the sillier smaller quests. So the devs gave us this on the launch of Varlamore and it's now one of the most beloved quests in the game for an entirely different reason than something like Desert Treasure 2.

@@FSAPOJake I do love the Monty Python vibes with the fun silly quests and doing this quest clearly shows a dev team having fun enjoying making silly stuff for people who appreciate actually paying attention too quests haha! Maybe one day cuthbert the lord of dread will return!

This quest is officially 10x better if you are dressed up like a frog. I've been waiting for you to do this quest ever since you donned the mask, but failed to consider you'd be doing this quest as the Frog Knight.

Varlamore was the first major area expansion since I started playing again and I love this place. Such a neat looking place

You can recolour your graceful in several different colours or styles, including green. That would definitely suit your frog fit! 🐸

I had this realisation occur on my last stream and it blew my tiny mind when seeing other players in a forestry world so don't you worry! This is why I prefer not being told about stuff so when I finally notice it or figure it out you all get to experience my noobness haha 🐸

The thing I've always believed of Runescape (or any game, really) is that if you're having fun, you're playing it "right"- the point of video games is enjoyment, and if you aren't being paid to do things in it that aren't fun for you why on Gielinor would you? I'm glad you enjoyed this quest as much as I did! The dichotomy of OSRS quests including incredibly complex and dark storylines as well as complete goofy nonsense is one of my favourite parts of the game.

You should reconsider fashionscape plugin, though. It's made for people like you, who insist wearing silly gear. This way you can have your frog mask on when you are skilling or fighting with no loss in useful stats.

I apprecciate this and I may end up using it in the future but for now it's a for fun choice :D Plus I like the idea of other people seeing me in the world as the mad frog guy wasting an equipment slot for the sake of individuality haha

I love the series but as a humble request could you tone down the voices a bit for the NPCs? I find it a bit over the top and that detracts from the viewing experience. I'd personally prefer it if they had more normal voices with only minor variations. Just my two pennies anyway! Looking forward to you taking on harder quests and content

Oh for sure the voices will vary base on the vibe of the quests themselves especially if I start getting into super serious ones. Honestly a lot of stuff rn has felt like a Monty Python vibe cause they've been silly fun so I roll with it haha
