helps with the unity jank this speedrun is actually more impressive than it looks cause it takes some dedication to get the sub 24. sometimes unity just decides to let you walk slightly faster or smth, and the jank ass graphics and slowing your pc makes it more likely to happen

@@10_days_till_xmas I assume because vertex warping tanks your framerate. The longer the time between frame updates the more force is applied to the player, this is to stop someone playing at 120 fps from moving twice as fast as someone playing at 60 fps. However because this compensation method isn't perfect it can lead to inaccuracies in how much force is calculated per frame update meaning that it can actually cause lower framerates to move slightly faster than high framerates.
