So you’ve finished ULTRAKILL for the 15th time, played every game in Funkes' movement shooter series, yet you still feel empty inside.
Well that’s probably a larger issue BUT to help with the lack of games thing;
I’ve spent the last MONTH sifting through steams extensive library to find 3 movement games, 3 GOOD movement games that you can confidently get excited for.

Played this game after seeing this video and honestly amazing work, despite being a short demo its still one of my favourite fast paced movement games, can’t wait for the full release:) just a thought but while i was playing I thought it would be interesting to have a consistent way of going into slow mo? I don’t know how hard it would be to properly add to such a fast paced game but seeing a perfectly executed combo in slow motion is great

The Style Meter is something that NEEDS to exist MORE in games! Not only does it incentives doing cool things but it also goes into the main purpose of a game (oh wait what is tha-) *FUN!!* Of course not EVERY game should have one (Don't know how Civilization would work with it) but shooters especially are missing out.

the “choose your floor” and “move the cubes” features of Invertigo are straight out of a game called Manifold Garden. more of a puzzle game than a movement game, but if you liked those aspects, I highly recommend it. bonus points for being an absolutely GORGEOUS game, too.

In Shady Knight, you can use the focus machanic to slow down time, then jump off a barrel, chain pull that barrel and jump of it again, OVER AND OVER. It's amazing.

I have to Say that the core mechanic of the third game is heavily inspired by manifold garden, however, manifold garden is way more puzzled centered than movement So I'm still excited

We actually started out development before the release of manifold garden, so it was a funny coincidence that the core mechanic is the same :p The puzzles and environment of Invertigo are much different though and indeed the focus on movement and speedrunning is what makes us 'stand out' in my opinion at least

If you want a game like Shady Knight where you use the environment and weapons, try Bullet Storm, it has a whole score based system with hundreds of kill combos, getting good at it is a blast. Loved this video aside from the airhorns

One movement game I think is slept on is Bunny-Hop: Eggstreme. It's a game that harkens back to the days of Source bunny hopping and feels exactly like it, despite being made in Unity. It has the typical leaderboards and 3 different difficulty options, and let me tell ya it is hard, but oh so satisfying when you get the groove.

I got the chance to play Valley Peaks and speak to the devs at EGX in October, and I gotta say it was very fun! The demo was very smooth and had me hooked and the time trials on some of the mountains had me playing for over 2 hours on the demo to beat my highscores

I havent played most of these but some to check out that i know of (mixture of Steam Library and Wishlist): Sunset Overdrive - Platformer + movement shooters. BPM - Ultrakill but you have to shoot on the beat. Ghostrunner - Ninja movement shooter Rollerdrome - Roller blading in a dome while shooting. Actually has pretty cool tech. Friends vs Friends - A competitive shooter with a nice art style and rogue like elements. Mullet Mad Jack / Anger Foot - Games where you barge into rooms with guns. Bears in Space - Not played it but it looks a lot like Robo Quest Killing Room - Rogue like rooms where you can trade your leg for more guns Seum / Story About My Uncle / Clustertruck - Only the jumping of movement shooters. Get from point A to B Gunfire Reborn - Roguelike shooter like the Crab Rave game but less crabs. TF2 (you probs don't know this one) - It basically copies Overwatch 2.
